Title:
Audel house wiring
Author:
Rosenberg, Paul
Review:
This is a great book for reading. It talks about the NEC and why the codes are the way they are. Not a lot of diagrams or pictures. It isn't a step by step and doesn't pretend to be. It starts off saying that electricity is serious business and it should be taken seriously, but with some research and respect for the project, it can be done by DIY'ers. I want to keep this one and read more of it. The whole book should be read before starting a home rewiring project.
If you just want to replace an outlet or switch, this book is overkill. If you want to become an electrician or rewire a house or add circuits appropriately, it's great! It'd also be great for anyone wanting to rewire to sell a home or bring their home up to code or just make it safer to live in.
